ASSISTANT project superintendent

The ideal candidate has at least 1 to 5 years of commercial tenant improvement experience with at least 1 year of experience as a project foreman or equal. Project experience must encompass all aspects of commercial tenant and capital improvements, including working with city and fire inspectors, building projects with or without complete plans, complying with building rules and regulations, and working closely with building management and staff.
In addition, the ideal candidate must:
- Be willing to work after hours and/or weekends as project schedules mandate.
- Be willing to work anywhere within Southern California (out-of-town expenses to be
covered by employer for projects located outside of San Diego County). - Be able to perform some minor physical labor and be fairly handy with small
construction tools. - Be able to pass a background check. This is a client requirement.
- Have basic computer skills with Microsoft Office applications, including, Outlook, Excel,
Word, and Project. - Have an exemplary safety record throughout career.
- Have an exceptional attention to detail.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Have a desire to work hard.
- Have a passion to exceed clients’ expectations, build great things, lead projects, and
develop relationships with co-workers, subcontractors, vendors, and client staff.
